Shipping 

We offer worldwide shipping. 

Shipping will be automatically calculated at checkout, this does not include import duty which will be county-specific. MY HABITAT is not responsible for any fees charged by customs or any delays due to customs. Please check your country’s customs rates before purchasing. All items will be shipped from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

We ship within one week from time of purchase and we will provide you with a track and trace once the item has been sent. 

 

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase, so if you are not completely satisfied, we will accept returns for store credit within 14 days of of ship date, provided that it is returned in its original condition. Apologies, no refunds. 

To make a return, please email us with your order information. Shipping costs will not be refunded for store credit. This applies to the original shipping costs for your order as well as the return-shipping cost. 

 

Care

For good maintenance of your rug it is advisable to vacuum it frequently. Do not use a vacuum cleaner that has a beater bar or rotating brush on it, this will cause fuzzing and fraying. Your rug should be cleaned with vacuum that uses suction only.

In the case of a stain, you must tend to it immediately! It is best to try and remove it by dabbing with a moist towel of warm water instead of letting the stain dry. Lift as much as possible whilst dabbing without rubbing.

Wool is self-cleaning, just hang your item out to air dry and it will clean itself. 

 

Vintage/Quality

All of our products are vintage, so please keep this in mind when you make your purchase. Many of our items are made from rugs that are over 50 years old so signs of wear and tear is to be expected. We believe these imperfections add to the beauty of these one of a kind items.
